    'Stimulating views on modern warfare', in the 2 May edition of the Canberra Times (p. 16) (975 words) is a review of Kilcullen's latest book. Published by Scribe Paperback in April 2009 it examines the war against Islamist extremism and at associated insurgencies across the globe: in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Chechnya, Pakistan and North Africa.
