Biographical Statement
Alison is responsible for administrative tasks relating to academics, Ph.D students, visiting fellows and assosiates as well as administration of the Program. She began work at the ANU in 1993 and has worked with the Division of Student Recruitment and International Education, Division of Public Affairs, Student and Academic Support, JABAL Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Centre and the Graduate Studies in Sustainable Heritage Development before joining RMAP in January 2007.

Biographical Statement
Sophie has an Honours degree in Anthropology from the ANU and a Masters degree in Applied Social Research from Macquarie University. She is currently the Research Assistant for the ARC Linkage project Creating Empowered Communities: Gender and Sustainable Livelihoods in a Coal Mining Region in Indonesia responsible for maintaining the project website; undertaking research into gender, development and mining; and preparing a range of community development resources for the project partner, PT Kaltim Prima Coal.

Biographical Statement
Mary has a science background with interests in health and environmental management in a development context. She gained diverse experience while working and living in Papua New Guinea and Uganda for extended periods. Currently, she is involved in editing the research output of RMAP program staff, students and affiliates; managing the publication of RMAP monographs, research reports and working papers; and compiling material for inclusion in program and project websites.
