Project summary
|
This study will examine the way in which community forests operate as a strategic symbol in the context of unequal power over natural resources in Thailand. The community forest symbol emerges out of negotiation within communities and between communities and outside agencies. This process of negotiation will be explored by drawing on a specific local case study in northern Thailand.
