Emma Campbell

Emma Campbell LLB(Hons) (Leeds), MSc ( London ) is from Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom . She graduated from the University of Leeds with a joint honours degree in Law and Chinese studies before joining the investment bank N.M. Rothschild where she worked as an Analyst in the Eastern European Equity Capital Markets division. She then returned to studying, completing a MSc in Korean politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
On graduating from SOAS, Emma worked for Cathay Pacific Airways for six years, where her roles included, in Delhi , managing the airline's Northern India operations and, in London , heading Cathay Pacific's commercial operations for the UK and Ireland.
Emma joined ANU to begin her PhD research in March 2008. Her research will focus on nationalism in contemporary South Korea with particular reference to reunification. She is supported by a Korean Foundation Postgraduate Fellowship.
