The Division of Politics and International Relations is situated in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies. Research interests are wide, with the Department of International Relations having global as well as regional interests.

The Department of Political and Social Change focuses on domestic and comparative politics with emphasis in particular on the major states of Southeast Asia and the Southwest Pacific.

The Division participates in the University's Graduate Program in Politics and International Relations.
