Biographical Statement
I joined the Department of Anthropology in September 2008. I obtained my MA in from the University of Zurich and my PhD from the ANU – both in Social Anthropology. I am currently working as a field researcher and field supervisor as part of an ANU project team in implementing a program of field research and training of local researchers in social assessment in Southeast and Central Sulawesi.
Research Interests
The anthropology of contemporary Indonesia and Southeast Asia; environmental management; irrigated agriculture; rural development; development studies.
