Biographical Statement

Trung Dinh Dang head and shoulders
Trung Dinh Dang completed his BA in Economics at Hue University of Vietnam in 1996, obtained his MA in Southeast Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore in 2002 and completed his PhD in Political Science at the Department of Political and Social Change, RSPAS, ANU in 2008. Before undertaking his PhD, Trung was a lecturer in Development Economics at the Tay Nguyen University of Vietnam. He came to RMAP in April 2009 as a Research Associate for the project 'Crafting Sustainability: addressing water pollution in Vietnam's craft villages'.

Research Interests

Sustainable development, common property, local politics and conflicts over land and other natural resources.
