Journal of Pacific History International Essay Prize

Two prizes of $A200 plus a three-year subscription to The Journal of Pacific History are offered for academic essays in English or French on any aspect of the history of the Pacific Islands, preferably based on original research, and in length between 5,000 and 8,000 words, by a resident of any country enrolled for study in an accredited university (provided that the author is not a member of academic staff).

One prize will be awarded to an undergraduate, and the other to a graduate student.
