This Public Forum explored the issues involved in transnational environmental crime with a particular focus on responses in the Asia Pacific that address the problems of detection, prevention and punishment. They range across law enforcement and border control, compliance and intelligence networks, customs initiatives and market strategies. They involve governments and government agencies, regional organisations, non-governmental organisations and the private sector.
