Publications

The Department currently publishes two in-house series. The Keynotes are short multi-authored monographs that provide analysis of contemporary developments in international relations.

The Department's Working Paper series provides an outlet for the latest research of Departmental staff and visitors. The series also provides a vehicle for the circulation of work-in-progress, one objective being to enable authors to gain feedback before completion of their projects. Circulation of manuscripts as Working Papers does not preclude their subsequent publication as journal articles or book chapters.

Both series can be downloaded for free from the Department's website.* The Keynotes are also available in hard copy.

In addition, limited stock in hard copy is available of previous Departmental publication series. This includes the Studies in World Affairs and Australian Foreign Policy Papers.

To order hard copies of Departmental publications please contact:

* From 2006, Working Papers are available only as downloadable files from the website. Working Papers from 1995-2005 are available both for download and in hard copy. Papers published before 1995 are available in hard copy only.
