ABOUT THE BLOG
The RMAP Blog is the news portal of the Resource Management in the Asia-Pacific Program at the Australian National University.
The Blog has been initiated to stimulate the academic debate on topical and controversial issues related to environmental and resource management through anecdotes, analysis and discussion forums. Readers are encouraged to participate in blog discussions by making comments to the posts.
The RMAP Blog contains the latest news from the program including information on forthcoming seminars, book releases, published articles, new grant fundings and awards to staff and students.
The RMAP Blog is maintained by the RMAP Webmistress and the RMAP Publications Manager. Any query should be directed to the RMAP Program Coordination.
News from previous years can be found in the archived monthly RMAP bulletins.

RSS newsfeed: keep up-to-date with RMAP news
RSS is a web feed that allows you to subscribe to this blog. Feeds provide a summary of a blog’s recently added content such as posts or comments. This is an easy way to keep up with RMAP news.
To make use of feeds, you need a news reader (also called news aggregator). News readers will download and display RSS feeds for you. You can choose web-based or desktop options or extensions to include into your browser or email program. Yahoo! for instance lets you add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page.

ABOUT RMAP
The Resource Management in Asia-Pacific (RMAP) Program is an inter-disciplinary program of research on the historical, social and institutional context of natural resource management in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. To find out more about the Resource Management in Asia-Pacific (RMAP) Program, please visit our website.
The RMAP Program aims to function as a key node in the regional and international network of institutions that undertake or use research on the social, political and economic aspects of environmental and resource management issues in this part of the world. This goal is accomplished through a diverse portfolio of research, consultancy and postgraduate teaching activities.
Several RMAP staff are invovlved in research networks. RMAP organises a regular seminar series, usually on a Tuesday at lunch time. There also a number of publications and current and past project documents available from our webpage.
