|
VisitorsThe Anthropology Department has long been a 'Mecca' for anthropologists of the Pacific and Asia, attracting numerous scholars every year from around the world during their sabbaticals or for shorter visits periods of study to take advantage of the considerable resources of the Department, RSPAS and the ANU. There are numerous categories of "visitor": Visiting Fellows, Departmental Visitors, and Visiting Scholars. Interested applicants should contact the Head of Department for further information. Visitors to the Department of recent years are listed in our Annual Reports. Visiting FellowsVisiting Fellows are established academics who visit the Department for relatively longer periods (e.g. one month or more) to pursue their research interests. Visiting Fellow applications are approved by the Department and by a committee of the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies. The formal application for appointment as Visiting Fellow is addressed directly to the HOD and normally consists of a brief statement of research plans to be undertaken during a specified period of affiliation with the Department plus an up-to-date CV.
