The Asia Pacific Journal of Anthropology

The Asia Pacific Journal of Anthropology (TAPJA, formerly Canberra Anthropology) is a leading refereed scholarly journal devoted to the anthropological study of Asia and the Pacific. It is published jointly by the Department of Anthropology in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, and the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts, The Australian National University, Canberra.

The journal provides a forum for the publication of research in all branches of anthropology relating to the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, publishing papers concerned with contemporary debates in anthropology, as well as ethnographic papers.
