Monographs in Anthropology Series

The Monographs in Anthropology Series with ANU E-Press establishes a new direction for publishing innovative contemporary ethnography from the Asia Pacific Region. The program continues in electronic form, a series of publications produced under the auspices of the Department of Anthropology in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (Australian National University).

ANU E-Press eBooks showcase ANU scholarship and are freely available in a range of formats (Acrobat PDF, HTML for onscreen viewing and HTML for mobile devices). Hardcopy prints are available through a Print-on-Demand (PoD) format. Statistics gathered from ANU E-Press web activities demonstrate a high level of download and online viewing of E-Press titles.

Information for Authors

Under the Anthropology series at least two monographs will be published each year. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts for consideration and peer review following the guidelines for ANU E-Press Book Proposals. Please direct enquiries to Dr Andrew McWilliam.
